My design roots trace back to fine art — recognized early through a national competition, and deepened through art-focused education and a spatial design major.
During my MFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, experimental virtual environments shifted my focus toward digital. That pivot led me into digital design, full-stack coding and email design + system development.
Today, I work at the intersection of design and technology — building email design systems and AI-assisted workflows that prioritize consistency, production efficiency, and cohesive digital experiences.

↗ shin-bay.comDesigned a complete brand and digital experience for Shinbay Omakase Room, spanning logo design, print collateral, website, and a custom React-based menu management app. The app allows the restaurant team to easily update menu items, categories, descriptions, pricing, and images without touching code—helping maintain a polished guest-facing menu while making daily operations faster and more flexible.

I created a visual system that balances East Asian elegance with contemporary simplicity, using refined typography, rich imagery, and structured layouts to support both brand storytelling and usability.

I developed a branded email design system featuring 51 topic-based templates, 65 reusable HTML/CSS modules, and 30+ hero animation variations. Built to support large-scale campaign production, the system streamlines workflows, strengthens brand consistency, and reduces repetitive manual work across teams.
